Mid-century modern Sputnik form, scaled for high-ceiling rooms. Three sizes from 23.6″ to 39.3″ diameter, with 11, 12, or 18 lit globes per fixture. Electrophoretic gold finish on the brass; matte white opal glass globes. ⚠ Statement-scale chandelier — verify ceiling height before ordering The fixture diameter ranges 23.6″ to 39.3″ , with a 19.7″ suspension rod above (extensible on request). Add 4–6″ for the bottom-globe drop. Recommended minimum ceiling: 11 ft for the 23.6″ size, 12 ft for the 31.5″, and 13+ ft for the 39.3″. Glass globes and brass rods are individually replaceable in transit — inspect on arrival. Features Radial Sputnik form Brass rods radiate symmetrically from a central hub — the classic mid-century starburst, scaled for grand interiors. Globes + brass spheres alternate Opal glass globes (lit) alternate with solid brass spheres (unlit) — light + mass play visually against each other. 3 sizes 11-globe (23.6″), 12-globe (31.5″), and 18-globe (39.3″) — match the fixture diameter to your room scale. Available Sizes Variant Diameter Lit globes Min ceiling Small Ø23.6″ (60 cm) 11 × G4 11 ft Medium Ø31.5″ (80 cm) 12 × G4 12 ft Large Ø39.3″ (100 cm) 18 × G4 13+ ft Each size includes a 19.7″ (50 cm) suspension rod above the fixture body, extensible on request. Add 4–6″ for the bottom-globe drop when calculating final ceiling-to-globe height. Finish Electrophoretic gold (brass) Matte opal white (glass) Single finish combination — the electrophoretic gold + opal white pairing is the design language. Alternate finishes are not stocked. Where it works Best in mid-century modern, Hollywood Regency, or transitional interiors with neutral walls (white, cream, light grey) that let the gold spread without competing. Pairs naturally with walnut or oak furniture, marble surfaces, and warm-white-painted walls. Avoid placing in front of patterned wallpaper — the radial rods compete visually with patterns. For Art Deco interiors, the symmetrical form lends itself well as the focal point above a round dining or foyer table. Specifications Material Electrophoretic-gold-finished brass rods and spheres · hand-blown opal white glass globes Light source G4 bi-pin base — LED bulb only, ≤2.5W per socket (20–25W halogen equivalent), sold separately Number of sockets 11 / 12 / 18 G4 sockets matching the chosen size Voltage AC 110–240V (universal) Mounting Hardwired ceiling mount via 19.7″ rigid brass suspension rod Finish Electrophoretic gold (brass) · matte opal white (glass) — single combination, fixed Suspension rod 19.7″ (50 cm) standard; extensions on request Control Compatible with TRIAC dimmers and standard wall switches (not included) Certification Certified for North America, EU, Australia, and Saudi Arabia Warranty 2 years on frame, finishes, and wiring; broken glass globes replaced free on arrival Installation Notes Licensed electrician required. The 31.5″ and 39.3″ sizes need a structurally rated junction box; verify with your electrician before ordering. Multi-person installation strongly recommended for the 18-globe size. The central hub and suspension rod mount first; individual rods, brass spheres, and glass globes attach on-site after the body is wired and secured. Two-person handling makes globe placement faster — one positions, one tightens. G4 LED bulbs sold separately. Recommended: 2700K warm-white G4 LED, ≤2.5W per bulb (20–25W halogen equivalent). G4 is a small bi-pin base — purchase explicitly labeled "G4 LED" (not "G9", a different base size). Avoid halogen G4 — heat builds inside the opal glass globe and can yellow it over time. Indoor dry locations only. Not for bathrooms, kitchens above stovetops, or covered outdoor areas — humidity damages the electrophoretic gold coating. Downloads & Resources Spec Sheet FAQs Which size should I order? Small (Ø23.6″, 11 globes) — for 4–6 ft dining tables, breakfast nooks, or smaller foyers (11+ ft ceilings). Medium (Ø31.5″, 12 globes) — for 6–8 ft dining tables, kitchen islands, or great rooms (12+ ft ceilings). Large (Ø39.3″, 18 globes) — for grand foyers, two-story dining rooms, or as a single statement piece in a 14+ ft tall space. As a rule of thumb, the diameter should be roughly 1/3 to 1/2 of your dining table or foyer width. What is G4? Where do I find G4 LED bulbs? G4 is a very small bi-pin LED base (4 mm pin spacing) — smaller than G9 (9 mm spacing), much smaller than E26. The advantage: G4 LEDs fit inside the small opal globes without showing through. The disadvantage: less common at general hardware stores. Find them at Amazon (search "G4 LED 2700K dimmable"), Home Depot online, or specialty lighting retailers like Bulbs.com. Choose 2.5W maximum, 2700K color temperature, dimmable if you want dimming. Why are some spheres lit and others solid brass? The radial rods alternate between two sphere types: opal white glass globes (housing a G4 LED bulb that lights up) and solid brass spheres (decorative, unlit). The visual rhythm of light + mass alternating around the hub is the design intent — it adds dimension that an all-lit chandelier lacks. On the 11-globe model, this means 11 lit + ~11 solid brass; on the 18-globe, 18 lit + ~18 solid brass for a denser starburst. Is it dimmable? Yes — compatible with standard TRIAC (forward-phase) wall dimmers like Lutron Caséta or Leviton, paired with dimmable G4 LED bulbs. All globes dim together. Dimming is recommended — with 11 to 18 bulbs at full brightness, the chandelier is bright; dimmed to 30–40%, the globes glow as discrete warm points around the radial mass, which is the most evocative setting. What's the warranty? 2-year warranty on the brass frame, electrophoretic gold finish, sockets, and wiring. Hand-blown glass globes that arrive broken in transit are replaced free with photos emailed within 7 days. After warranty, replacement globes and brass spheres are available as paid-service parts (kept in stock for 3 years after your order). G4 LED bulbs are standard replaceable parts.
