Questions about quotes, providers and your workspace

Find out how to compare offers, request a quote and work with independent providers, or get help setting up your business workspace.

Frequently asked questions

Who supplies my products or handles my shipment?

The independent provider you choose supplies the goods or performs the service. Wharvex helps you discover providers and manage requests. Confirm coverage, specifications and terms directly with your provider.

Is a published freight rate my final shipment price?

Published rates show a charging unit and currency. Your final quote depends on the route, cargo, minimum charges and additional services. Check the rate details and request confirmation before booking.

How do I request a quote?

Choose Request a quote, describe your requirements and select a provider. Review your request on the provider page and sign in when submitting so you can follow up. Your initial description is not sent until you submit it.

Who is Wharvex for?

Wharvex is designed for customers, suppliers, sourcing agents, freight forwarders and warehouse teams. Each organisation gets a tenant-scoped workspace and can use the modules relevant to its work.

Does Wharvex provide freight forwarding services?

No. Wharvex provides the SaaS platform. Independent tenants advertise and deliver their own services through their branded workspace and public site.

Can each organisation publish a public profile?

Yes. Eligible organisations can publish provider profiles, products, catalogues, service offerings and rate cards. Public content remains attributable to the organisation that published it.

Can customers and suppliers log in?

Yes. External users can receive relationship-specific access to the relevant portal features without receiving internal staff permissions.

Can we configure roles and permissions?

Yes. Tenant owners and team leads can use permission sets and role-aware access controls. Sensitive actions and financial visibility can be restricted.

Does it support freight and sourcing together?

Yes. Sourcing projects can move through supplier comparison and approvals into freight quotation, shipment and delivery coordination.

Can a customer use Wharvex without another provider?

Yes. Customers can manage their own products, suppliers, RFQs, orders, documents and shipments, then involve a sourcing agent or freight forwarder only when needed.

How is tenant data protected?

The platform uses tenant-scoped access controls, lifecycle checks, audit events, MFA-capable security controls and controlled API and webhook credentials.

Can Wharvex integrate with other systems?

Yes. Tenant API keys, outbound webhooks and managed integrations support controlled connections to external systems.

How do we get started?
