Each 3.9″ × 9.8″ shade is hand-carved from natural alabaster into two stacked cylinders — a short upper tier above a taller lower tier, stepped at the waist. Gold-finished iron hardware on a black canopy. G9 base. 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11-light spiral drops from 59″ up to 138″. Cables shorten on-site; for drops beyond the standard max, request extended cable when ordering. Sloped ceiling compatible up to 15°; steeper pitches ship with a free sloped-ceiling adapter — send pitch angle when ordering. For two-story stairwells, the 9 or 11-light falls through the well so tiered shades read at both floors. We recommend a 3–5W G9 LED in 2700K warm white per shade to preserve the alabaster's natural color and warm the gold-finished iron. Alabaster is a natural stone — small surface variations and color veining are inherent and not defects. This Tiered shade is a two-tier stacked cylinder — taller (3.9″ × 9.8″, a 1:2.5 column) with a stepped waist, on gold-finished iron with a G9 bulb. The smooth Cylinder pendant is a single short drum (3.9″ × 5.9″, a 1:1.5 form) on solid brass with an E26/E27 bulb. Pick Tiered for a taller, more layered columnar look; pick the smooth Cylinder for a compact minimalist drum. Which size fits my room? 8–10 ft single-story foyer: 3 or 5-light. Standard two-story stairwell (~16 ft well): 7 or 9-light. Tall stairwells or 20+ ft foyers: 11-light. Email us your ceiling height for a free layout. What G9 bulb should I use? Is it dimmable? G9 base, max 5W LED recommended. A 3–5W G9 LED in 2700K warm white preserves the alabaster's natural color and warms the gold-finished iron. Avoid cool-white above 3000K — it flattens both the stone and the metal tone. Dimmable when paired with a dimmable G9 bulb and a compatible wall dimmer. How do I install this on a sloped or vaulted ceiling? Standard canopies fit flat ceilings or pitches up to 15°. For steeper slopes — common over open stairwells — a sloped-ceiling adapter ships free.
