Each piece in the Capretta range is hand-crafted from solid Elm with a smooth, lightly oiled, and sealed finish, enhancing the wood’s natural beauty. For additional durability, further sealant can be applied if desired. The Capretta collection is of superior quality, with a generally uniform colour, finish, and hardness. However, as with all natural Elm, slight variations in colour and knots may be present. Our design partners and manufacturers carefully hand-cut and refill knots in the top - an intricate + time-demanding premium process carried out to Living By Design’s exact specifications. These natural variations are not considered faults but rather unique characteristics of the wood.
