Product Details

A spiral cascade chandelier built from rows of clear crystal prism rods that step down in a tiered, faceted spiral from a slim brass canopy. Each rod catches and refracts light from the hidden E14 bulbs at the core, scattering soft sparkles across the surrounding walls and ceiling. Three sizes from 24″ to 39″ diameter (6, 12, or 21 lights). Sized for formal dining rooms, entry foyers, and stairwell drops. ⚠ Installation note — read before ordering the Large size The 39″ (21-light) version is a substantial fixture with hundreds of crystal rods. To prevent fall hazards and crystal damage: Mount only on a concrete ceiling or reinforced structural beam with heavy-duty expansion bolts. Two-person install required — never attempt to hang the large size single-handed. Licensed electrician strongly recommended for the wiring and final balance check. ⚠ Crystal handling Crystal rods are individually hung and ship in dedicated foam-cushioned packaging. Inspect each rod before installing — if any cracked in transit, set them aside and email us with photos for free replacements. Wear cotton gloves during install: fingerprints on uncoated crystal are visible and require glass cleaner to remove. Features Faceted crystal prism rods Hand-cut clear crystal rods, each polished to refract the warm light from the hidden core. Tiered spiral cascade Crystal rods descend in a multi-tier spiral — the geometry reflects light from every angle, not just below. 3 sizes, 6–21 lights 24″, 31″, or 39″ diameter. Scales from intimate dining room to grand foyer. Configuration Options Size & light count 24″ (6 lights) · 31″ (12 lights) · 39″ (21 lights). All sizes use E14 sockets. Hang height 20″ chain included. Longer chains available on request — specify ceiling height when ordering. Large size: 2-person install recommended. E14 candelabra bulbs sold separately. Recommended: 2700K warm-white LED, ≤40W equivalent. Edison-style or "candle flame" LED bulbs work well aesthetically since the bulbs are partly visible behind the crystal. Indoor dry locations only. Clean crystal rods with a soft microfiber cloth or glass cleaner sprayed on the cloth (never on the fixture). Use cotton gloves to avoid fingerprints. Downloads & Resources Spec Sheet FAQs What does "brinicle" mean? A brinicle (brine icicle) is a saltwater ice formation that descends from sea ice — the spiral cascade of crystal rods echoes that shape. We chose the name because it captures the way the rods appear to fall from a single point in a faceted spiral. Which size should I order for my space? For a 5–6 ft dining table or compact foyer: 24″ (Small, 6 lights). For 6–8 ft tables or open entry: 31″ (Medium, 12 lights). For grand foyers, two-story drops, or formal dining rooms with 10+ ft ceilings: 39″ (Large, 21 lights). The Large requires reinforced ceiling support. Is the crystal real glass or acrylic? Real hand-cut crystal glass, polished and faceted. Crystal weight is part of why the Large size requires reinforced mounting. Acrylic rods would be lighter but flatten the light refraction — we use only glass for proper sparkle. What bulb works best — LED or halogen? LED for daily use (cool to the touch, 30,000+ hours, lower energy). Halogen for occasional formal use if you prefer the warmer color signature on crystal. Both fit E14 candelabra base. 2700K warm white reads as honey gold through the crystal; 4000K reads more clinical and silver. What if a crystal rod arrives broken? Inspect each rod before installing. If any arrived cracked or chipped, email admin@spotyard.com.au with photos within 7 days of receipt — we ship replacement rods free of charge. We keep matching crystal rods in stock for 3 years after your order.
