Noralin Travertine Pendant Lamp — yellow travertine, tiered hand-carved form, downward glow. A wide, gently curved shade hand-carved from yellow travertine — the stone’s porous surface alive with fossils, voids, and tonal variation that no two pieces share. The tiered profile steps upward from a broad flat rim to a dark brass collar and black cord, the entire silhouette drawn from the visual language of classical oil lamps and ancient stone vessels. Light exits downward through the open base, casting a warm, focused ambient glow directly below — ideal for dining tables, kitchen islands, and reading corners where directed warmth is the point. Yellow Travertine — formed by nature, unrepeatable by craft Yellow travertine is a sedimentary limestone formed over millennia through mineral-rich spring deposits. The porous cavities, fossil inclusions, amber veins, and surface colour are determined entirely by geological conditions — not by human process. Every Noralin shade will differ from the display images and from every other piece. This is the inherent character of natural stone, not a defect. Stone & Form Reference Tap to enlarge — travertine surface texture and pore character (your piece will differ) Features Hand-Carved Travertine Tiered profile turned from solid yellow travertine — each piece is unique in pore and vein pattern. Downward Ambient Glow Open base directs warm light downward — focused, intimate illumination for dining and work surfaces. Dark Brass Collar Aged brass connector and black cord — the hardware steps back so the stone leads. Size Tap to enlarge Single size ∅ 8.1″ × H 3.9″ Dia 18 cm × H 10 cm 59″ cable — adjustable, extendable on request Materials: Yellow Travertine, Wood, Metal Colour Temperature Specified at time of bulb purchase — select bulb colour temperature to suit your space. Warm White 2700–3000K Recommended The warm tone deepens the yellow and amber tones within the travertine, enriching the stone’s natural fossil patterning and porous character. The most flattering pairing for this material. Bulb & Light Source E26 (US/CA) or E27 (EU/AU) — bulb not included Compatible with LED and Edison filament bulbs. A warm-white LED or Edison filament at 2700–3000 K is strongly recommended — the warm tone illuminates the travertine’s surface character from within, bringing out the amber veins and fossil detail visible through the pores. A small globe or candle-tip E26/E27 LED at 4–6W suits the compact ∅ 18 cm shade and provides comfortable downward ambient light for a dining table or island surface. Cluster the Noralin for a stronger statement The ∅ 18 cm shade is refined but compact — a cluster of two or three at different drop heights above a long dining table or kitchen island creates a powerful sculptural composition. Yellow travertine is a natural limestone formed over thousands of years from calcium carbonate deposited by mineral springs. The amber and honey tones, the visible pores, the fossil inclusions, and the vein patterns are all produced entirely by geological conditions — they cannot be manufactured or standardised. The display images show representative examples of the stone’s character; your lamp will have its own pattern that differs from the photographs and from every other piece. This is an inherent quality of natural stone, not a quality issue. Is the travertine heavy? How does the ceiling mount handle the weight? Yellow travertine is a relatively porous and lighter-density natural stone compared to marble or granite. The shade at ∅ 18 cm is compact and the weight is manageable for a standard ceiling pendant installation. For drywall installations, ensure the canopy is mounted into a ceiling joist or with a suitable ceiling anchor rated for the fixture weight. If you are unsure of the weight, contact our support team and we will provide the exact shipping weight from the spec sheet. How many pendants do I need for a dining table? At ∅ 18 cm the Noralin is a compact shade — beautiful as a single for a small round table, breakfast nook, or reading corner. For a standard 4–6 seat rectangular dining table, a cluster of two or three pendants at staggered drop heights creates the most balanced light distribution and the strongest visual statement. For a kitchen island of 120 cm+, two Noralins spaced evenly along the length work well. Is the Noralin certified for North America and Europe? Yes. It holds certifications compatible with North America, Saudi Arabia, Europe, and Australia and operates on AC 110–240V worldwide.
