Linearity Pendant Lamp — walnut linear bar, integrated LED, clean above every table. A single walnut bar — tapered at the ends, just 5 cm wide and 6 cm deep — hangs from two fine gold wires and a matching walnut canopy. The underside of the bar holds an acrylic diffuser through which the integrated LED strip emits a continuous, even line of warm light directed downward with no visible source, no hotspots, no shadow. At 120 or 150 cm, the Linearity is scaled for dining tables and kitchen islands — the length aligned with the table, the bar floating just above the surface’s visual plane. Simple, resolved, quiet. Dimmable version available — Triac dimmer switch required The Linearity is available in both standard (non-dimmable) and dimmable versions. If you select the dimmable version, a Triac (Thyristor) dimmer switch is required for smooth, flicker-free dimming — standard phase-cut dimmers are not compatible. A recommended Triac dimmer switch is available on Amazon: Search: Thyristor Triac Dimmer Switch on Amazon → Features Walnut Linear Bar Tapered walnut wood body — warm grain, minimal profile, 5 cm wide. Full-Length LED Strip Acrylic diffuser across the full bar length — even, shadowless downward glow. Dimmable Option Available as standard or dimmable — requires Triac dimmer switch for dimming. Sizes Both sizes share the same walnut finish and integrated LED. The standard guideline is to choose a pendant length that is approximately 70–80% of the table length. For a 4-seat rectangular table at 120–140 cm, the 120 cm version is well proportioned. For a 6-seat table at 160–200 cm, the 150 cm version provides better coverage. For kitchen islands, match the lamp length to the island’s length or go slightly shorter — a 150 cm Linearity works well over a 150–180 cm island. Hang the bottom of the bar 70–80 cm above the table surface for optimal light distribution. What is a Triac dimmer and where do I get one? A Triac (Thyristor) dimmer is a type of wall switch designed specifically for LED dimming. Unlike standard leading-edge or trailing-edge dimmers, Triac dimmers are compatible with the PWM dimming protocol used in LED drivers, which produces smooth, flicker-free dimming without buzzing or sudden drop-out. Standard phase-cut dimmers available at hardware stores may cause flickering or reduced dimming range with this lamp. When purchasing, look for “Triac” or “Thyristor” dimmers rated for LED use. A recommended option is available via the Amazon link in the product description. Triac dimmers are installed as a standard wall switch by an electrician. Is the integrated LED replaceable when it fails? The LED strip is integrated into the bar and is not user-replaceable. LED modules of this type are rated for 25,000–50,000 hours under normal use conditions — at 4 hours per day, that is 17–34 years before significant degradation. If the lamp develops a fault within the warranty period, contact us for warranty service. For long-term replacement, contact our support team for availability of the LED module for your specific version. Is the Linearity Pendant certified for North America and Europe? Yes. It holds certifications compatible with North America, Saudi Arabia, Europe, and Australia and operates on AC 110–240V worldwide.
