About the wood color — walnut-stained dark reddish-brown The wood finish is a walnut-stained dark brown with warm reddish-brown undertones , as visible in product photos. Because each piece is made from real solid wood, there will be natural variation in grain pattern, tone, and surface texture between individual arms and between units. This is an inherent characteristic of genuine wood — not a defect. Pieces from the same tree can differ visibly in color depth and sheen. Assembly fit — small gaps are normal at wood-to-hub joints Because wood expands and contracts with humidity and temperature, minor gaps may appear between the arm and the central hub, or between the glass globe socket and the wood holder. These small clearances are built in to allow natural wood movement and do not affect structural safety or light output.
